We've lived in the area since 2015 and this restaurant is superb. The staff are amazing - courteous, service-oriented and so kind. Our favourite is the generous Rock Lobster platter which is currently 52.00 (Nov 2019) for 2 people. Having travelled a lot, I am quite sure that there are few places in Europe where you'll find this kind of value for money. The lobsters are fresh, as is the other seafood that they serve. It has happened that I've requested a fish that's not available because it wasn't caught during the fishing that morning - such a commitment to fresh fish! Of course, there's always an amazing altnerative. During the summer holiday, it's essential to book.
Beautiful fresh fish soup . Monkfish, clams and prawns with rice. Generous portions and local ingredients. Reasonably priced wine and the best raspberry ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended. The best meal so far on my holiday x
Wonderful seafood restaurant, just in front of the sea and Ria Formosa. In the new more modern designed building you can have better view out but its open only daytime. The building just beside is older but all is traditionell and good. Lovely White Reserva wine from Alantejo, just try it!!
On of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to! Its shellfish is a amzing and it has a very nice view. The staff are always helpful and the shellfish stew is amazing.
Very nice, excellent service and good price. May I suggest on the tourism menu, the lamb choice, could have a mint sauce, (you can get in a jar from supermarket, just add some vinegar and touch of sugar). Also some sort of vegetables, would be nice, then it would be perfect. Excellent red wine included in the tourist menu and the deserts lovely. Well done!
Absolutely delicious shellfish platter and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We've gone here every time we have stayed in Cabanas and it's always a pleasure.
