Very friendly place and easy to get to. Staff are very helpful, kind and are always searching to attend your needs. Food is excellent, but pay attention, it's all about sea food ( it also has some plates of meet like Bitoque, Carne Assada, but the essence of the restaurant is sea food done in all kind of different ways. Not the cheapest place to go but very , very nice. Also they always recommend to do a reservation first. For sure a spot to come back again.

Very good see food
Your typical small town restaurant ran by a man that knows his food and alcohol. Very satisfied experience, great food, great vibe, great service, very friendly. Very simple dining and nothing too special or fancy.

The best on Samouco
A hidden gem! We stopped here en route to the Algarve after reading the awesome Google reviews. The limpets (lapas), crab pasta and vinho verde were all very good. The service was amazing and the owners very welcoming. A refreshing change from the service in Lisbon! Samouco doesn't seem like a tourist hotspot so a little Portuguese will go a long way! My wife and I sampled some of the fresh bean clams of the day (conquilhas) and chilled strawberry liquor -both were delicious. We would definitely come back!
