While traveling in Lisbon for Global Scribes: Youth Uniting Nations it was time for laundry– I was so lucky to find Mr. Jeff & meet Filipa! My laundry was done perfectly–everything smelled fresh, was super clean (like the store) & was delivered back to me ontime. Mr. Jeff is a definite 'go to' next time I am traveling in Europe / Lisbon!

Dream come true: have you ever dreamt that a secret hand would take away your laundry, wash , iron and make them look brand new and deliver them. Well it is no longer a dream in the hands of this lavandaria in Lapa on one of the most authentic streets of Lisbon. Filipa, the most friendly, professional Portuguese woman with perfect English , carried her experience in her past professional life and work ethic to this business and created a clientele base who relies on her perfect job. I receive sheets each week as if they have just been bought. My husband adores his razor sharp pressed and cleaned cotton and linen shirts. My linen table cloths and place mats found new life as they get carefully pressed with starch. They haven’t even looked as good when l bought them. Thank you Filipa and please keep up the great job and never leave our neighborhood!
