My daughter learnt how to surf the waves of the Atlantic here with Surf At, during many fantastic summers in Colares. She absolutely loved it! Very kind and professional staff, great equipment and good value. Highly recommended!

Surf At was the best possible experience I could have asked for. Everybody was incredibly helpful and kind. I felt completely at home here, and Pedro and Gustavo managed to make me fall in love with the waves. They were also incredibly accommodating with my lack of knowledge of the Portuguese language and instructed me in perfect English, so I am beyond grateful. I would recommend these surf lessons to everyone.
Excellent school, great instructors, reliable, patient and professional. Within a matter of hours under their guidance, our daughter evolved into a keen surfer. These people know what they're doing, they love it and they know how to teach. Young or old, talented or not - you and your children are in the best of hands.
Super nice people, good equipment, fair prices - but not much teaching going on. 5min of "this is how you do it", then in the water and other than 3-4 holding of board, go now, do this during the 'lesson' there is really no teaching going on; more a nice equipment rental and someone with you in the water. No theory, no etiquette, no safety training, no 'do this in an emergency '
We took a 2h lesson in a group with my partner (60 in total). The staff and teachers were friendly. I'd say that one lesson is enough, then you have to practice on your own (rental is also cheaper: 20/2h, 35/half day).
Hi, me and my friend Luise took a lot of Group Lessons. We learned so much it was awesome we started as total beginnners, and can now say that we made a lot of progress. The Price was really cool, we stayed three weeks and we didnt want to go home at all. All the Time it was Safety First so no parent needed to sorry and there were new things to learn at all Levels and for all ages! We cant wait to come back next year and spend the entire time surfing. Thanks so much for making our vacation even more awesome than it was before!!! See you next year in the waves!! Tabea
