Had the best experience with Wild spirit campers! Super friendly and helpful! Me and my girlfriend travelled through Portugal with Iggy, a ‘97 VW transporter. Iggy was equipped with everything you need to camp anywhere. We stayed at the most beautiful places, Iggy could take us anywhere. Every night we had beautiful sunsets at the ocean. One of the best holidays I’ve ever had. I will definitely hire from Wild spirit campers again! 5/5!!! Thank you Wild spirit campers!!

We had a great time driving the '98 VW transporter Vanessa from lisbon all the way down to the Algarve and back. At first I was worried that something might happen due to the vans age but everything went smoothly, the campers are in great shape and are being carefully maintained by Anna and Carlos. Looking forward to rent one of their vans again next summer!
This summer, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting Carlos and Ana, the most welcoming people you can imagine. Because of the weird circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were afraid that our holiday plans would have to be cancelled. Last minute we decided to rent a van with Wild Spirit Campers so that we could get away from the crowds and enjoy the deserted places along the Portugese coast in peace. We were excited but a bit nervous, since we never rented a camper van before. But from the moment we met Ana and Carlos and they showed us their beautiful van called Iggy, everything was great and we had the most relaxing and adventurous time. Everything in the van is carefully made and organised, you can really see that Ana and Carlos have put a lot of thought in its design. The van was super user friendly, also for campervan-virgins like us. Anytime we had a question about Iggy, we got an immediate response via Whatsapp which was very nice and reassuring. They really care for their guests, which was also shown by the gifts and treats they gave us. I would really recommend renting a van with Wild Spirit Campers to anyone, since it is the best way to explore the beautiful nature of Portugal and discover its fascinating coastline. Perfect renting place if you are looking not only for a camper to drive around in Portugal, but also for the nicest couple ever! You can contact them all the time, they write back immediately, tell you a lot of information about what to do and see in the country and you will get to know their cute dogs. There is no better place to look for a van!
We had an awesome trip! Ana & Carlos deliver very professional services but it still feels like you are actually renting from friends, not a company. The van was very well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Ana & Carlos gave us everything we needed to make the most of it. They even got our back when we had a problem with the clutch. We’ve came to Portugal to travel down the coast in one of the vans that Carlos and Ana are renting. As mentioned in other comments the rented vans are old and the one we’ve had „Iggy“ in quite a bad shape (e.g. unhealthy battery, sending us of with an empty gas bottle etc.) As long as everything was running smoothly Wild Spirit campers were acting friendly and nice. As soon as we were facing struggles with the vehicle they seemed to be overstrained by the situation and reacted unprofessional and blamed us for being responsible for a damage to the clutch which is obviously a wearing part and we‘re just the unlucky ones who have to deal with the result. They took our 500 bond, the van and left us lost and homeless on the streets while it was getting dark. We were forced to get all our stuff out of the van in 20 mins, paying for additional accommodation and a bus back to the airport. We’re feeling ripped of and not recommending to hire a van with such an unexperienced and unprofessional company.
