It's a beautiful view from the entire city. If you go alone I recommend to do both ways with the lift. I planned to make it by walking down town, however there's a few bizarre fellows around. It's a great place to take pictures

Lovely ride! At the top is a church and the surroundings are a lush green space. Massive boulders and lichen blanket the area. And the view is spectacular.

Unfortunately we couldn’t stay very long, but the view was amazing and the church was impressive from the outside. The inside has a modern style. When we looked around you could see a beautiful park. The lift was fun for the kids and very easy for us.

It was closed but I had a drink and sandwich at Empire next door, just in case the teleferic opened. Empire is a good place with a nice cool breeze out the back amongst the trees. Good food too.

The church at the top is a bit lame, and tourists use the majestic boulders as a lavatory, but the cable car is a fun way of getting there. I am personally afraid of heights, but I coped with this OK. You are never that far away from the ground. You wouldn't want to fall, but when does that happen? Urghhhh... Anyway, as local prices go it is a bit steep. But, if you can afford it, it's worth a go. But you are not missing much if you don't.
