My brother and I are from Canada, I am currently living in Germany and he is visiting Europe. This was our first time in Portugal and Baleal. We stayed a night at one of their hostels and did a surf lesson with Chris. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The majority of the staff are from Germany and so are most of the clients so it was nice for me to speak some German. If I'm back in Baleal I would definitely stay with Surfguiding péniche again.
