For nearly 3 decades, ZIMBRO has been engaged in the production of liqueurs and spirits and their distribution both domestically and abroad. It began his activity in the late 80's in the village of Tortosendo, on the hillside of Estrela Mountain (Portugal), at the hands of his mentor Artur Aleixo, accompanied by a solid and fundamental team of collaborators to this day. Beginning its activity by producing the traditional Estrela Mountain liqueurs - one of the business cards of this emblematic region - and some market follow-up products, the company has been sustaining its growth and making progress over the years, currently having a portfolio of approximately seven dozen own branded products such as Licor Serrano, Ginja Serra da Estrela or Wild Snow Dog Dry Gin. Linking ancestral flavors with current trends and consumer preferences, its products are designed based on the premises of quality, innovation and demand satisfaction. Based on these principles, the company establishes as its mission to offer beverages that represent, in essence, the unique characteristics of the region in which it operates – the mountain spirit - always combining the very high quality of its products with solid partnerships and proximity to its customers. Currently, ZIMBRO has two distribution bases - Tortosendo-Covilhã (headquarters) and Lisbon - and continues to design new projects and products with a view to strengthening its presence in the national and international markets, in order to consolidate its position as a one of the reference companies in the national alcoholic beverages sector.
