I would like to do a little diving in the Azores in august 2019. Has anyone been recently ?I have tried to contact the company but can't find English on the website. Also I would like to see sharks and big fish so if anyone can suggest ! thanks you AD

Really good set up here. Went with our Dive club 2016 for a week bought a 10 Dive package for 4 people all CMAS 2* experiences divers, (my wife and two mates from our Dive club) Flew Ryanair direct from Uk stayed a week in an Airbnb house with 2 hire cars from airport. Really good value for money and some good diving - took all own kit and used their tanks and weights. The centre was really good - staff really helpful and professional - we liked it so much we returned 2017 with group of 8 from our club. ——- What we liked Staff carried all kit from minute we assembled it, including rinsing it after each dive and swapping tanks over at lunch. Back to centre after each dive for long Surface Interval with nice bar/restaurant in marina to chill Diving viz 10m Changing rooms and showers to lock/leave kit. All staff fluent English speakers Variety of dives/stuff to see inc wreck Kit hire available of all kit (although we took our own) Timings not dependent on tide Guides knew the sites very well - good briefings before each dive Our kit was really well looked after and carefully handled including tank transmitters on the regs. Drying rack for wetsuits locked in centre each night after diving so dry next day. Shop selling some Dive kit 50m walk from rib to showers (staff took kit on trolley) 200m walk from showers to bar/cafe No other divers on our dive sites ——— Other stuff to be aware of 12l tanks the norm with 5 supplement for 15 per dive Did not see any instruction / coaching as we were all experienced divers but the Dive guides were very good - Jorge, Henrique and Pedro. Other clients sharing boat so mixed groups although there were two ribs of different sizes. ——— Would definitely recommend this centre and location for a great value diving holiday- it’s part of Portugal as far as currency and mobile phone use goes. Our second visit one year on was equally good.
