Interesting small village, easy to get to from Belem ferry. Excellent beaches near by
Ferries consistently arrive and departure on time. This place can be an excellent way of escaping an over "turistified" Lisbon. There are some really nice restaurants literally one minute walk away from the ferry terminal with a fantastic view of Lisbon. The ferry ride is an attraction in it self.
Very nice place near the river. With a very nice view of Lisbon.
Love this ferry to cross the Tagus, from Trafaria to Belem or vice-versa. You can take your car on the ferry.
Hella crispy toes
Put your car on the ferry across. It's around 2.25eur for the car and one person.
A small fishing village on the southern bank of the Tagus river, directly facing Lisbon. The best: the view it offers of Lisbon's riverside and small typical Restaurants; the worst: some huge silos and unkept houses that kind of break the pleasant view. Also of interest is the riverboat pier (you can sail from and towards Lisbon) and the bicycle/pedestrian lane that goes all the way to Costa da Caparica (think beaches and fish Restaurants).
