Spectacular location on a shaded terrace overlooking the majestic Douro River about 400 metres below. Conscientious service from friendly staff. A very nice seasonal menu of local dishes and an array of wines from the adjoining and historic Quinta Nova winery. Good food, wines and service, in an unparalleled location all add up to five stars.
