As a tourist, sometimes I have a hard time to choose the right restaurant, a snap decision. I have my doubt in the beginning, but I have to eat this famous seafood mix no matter how. It took nearly 20 min long to present this pot to us, my husband and I crushed on it right away. Really delicious! Must try!

We ate here May 2019. Great piri piri chicken and grilled fish of the day. Lovely, friendly service and the best fried potato skin nibbles with a sprinkling of oregano. Go and try it for yourself!

A regular, welcoming Portuguese restaurant. Bright, clean and the TV on in the background. I had piri-piri chicken and chips and salad which was good, hot ad tasty.

Typical Portuguese cuisine. Properly grilled fresh fish with salt and olive oil. Simple. Tasting every element. Friendly staff. Aspect for improvement: vegetables overcooked

Try the seafood cataplana. It is amazing. It takes a while to cook (we waited about 40 min) but it is worth the waiting.

An absolute shambles. We found a table and had drinks very quickly our order was taken and it went downhill from there. The bread never arrived, after 45 mins the main course arrived which was cold. We ate and went to pay the bill. They had no idea what we had ordered so we told them paid the bill and left. It did not help that the outside area is like a wind tunnel, the large stand alone sign fell on one of the other diners.

The food was good, though maybe a little bit overly oiled. I had salada de pulvo and polvo à lagareiro, and both had at least 2mm oil left in the plate. The service, however, can't be more disorganized, and the owner doesn't do anything to make it better: she scolds back and forth waiters and micro manage everything.
