Delicious Indian cuisine! They have all kinds of dishes from vegan to fish curry. Everything was so delicious with fair prices. Totally recommendable!

Lovely Indian cuisine. Very reasonable prices. Excellent staff. Delicious food. Visited twice on our holiday. Wife is half Indian say no more ;-) Chickens may be organic in Madeira?
We have visited this restaurent many times even during the beginning of the pandemic where resources were limited, this restaurant has always prepared fresh and delicious food. always leaving very satisfied. It is not the cheapest of the Indian restaurants in town, but also not too pricy and worth every Euro. Excellent food and good service.
Best Indian since long time. Well balanced curries, spicy and mild. Fresh taste and friendly service.
Nice food, however not a lot of meat in the curry.
An excellent Indian restaurant located near several major hotels in Funchal. The selection is good, including vegetarian options. Service is consistently of a very high standard as you'd expect from a good Indian, and they give you a complimentary shot of Madeira with the bill. In a week in Madeira we had dinner here three times! Absolutely worth a visit.
We visited the Taj Mahal for the first time despite many years of coming to Madeira. We decided we needed a break from the.typical Madeiran menus (not that they are bad!) and we are so glad we did. We had a prawn biryana and a prawn bhuna and they were absolutely delicious, right up there with the best Indian meals we have ever had. The spicing was well balanced, hot and aromatic and the prawns were cooked perfectly,, not a hint of rubberiness just sweet softness. The service was good, polite and friendly and the restaurant is situated close to the Pestana Carlton hotel. We will certainly be going again!
One of my favourite dinners in Madeira. First, the decor is very pleasing with the large windows and space in the room. Food was superb, Mutaar Paneer was fresh and delicious and the naan was cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly, with a wide range of dishes on the menu as well. Only slight improvement would be the Gulab Jamun, it could be made to be fresher. Other than that the main course was food was all excellent, highly recommended and worth a visit!
