My name is João Sousa, I was born in 1987 in Porto, Portugal, and I'm a professional Character Designer, 3D Artist and Animator. After spending a few years studying cinema, photography and multimedia design I took a step further on my education and I had the opportunity to go to Vancouver, where I graduated in 3D Animation and Visual Effects at Vancouver Film School. I decided to return to my country and after a couple of years, and a lot more experience on the field, I finally managed to open my own animation studio. Studio Joao Sousa provides creative 3D Animations, Character Designs and Illustrations. Nowadays, and thanks to this amazing technology that is the internet, I work with people all around the world, having met clients from Brazil, USA, Mozambique, Angola, India, Australia and Canada, doing what I love the most: create cartoons.
