Food amazing. This restaurant is a jewel of a find in Cabanas, Portugal. It is situated on the street that runs parallel to the front. The menu is full of delights. Portuguese food at it's best. Let the waiter select your wine, he knows what is best for the dish ordered. Will definitely visit again on next trip.

Sardines are really the best from Europe and around. :) inner pateo great and very friendly staff. Sangria bread and red wine good.
We ordered the grilled daily fish and fried squid. Both were fresh and tasty. Service very friendly. Bit hidden in the alleys but worth the visit.
We visited this restaurant 3 nights in a row back in April . Such a relaxing friendly place. The owners are very welcoming and hands on. The food portions were plentiful and every dish that we ordered was cooked to perfection and delicious. The cream dessert and the fig tart were in a class of their own. We managed to get the recipe for the cream dessert . We've made it at home and it was spot on and tasted exactly as it did in the restaurant. Many thanks for sharing this with us. Very simple to make. Ideal for family get together as its stored in the freezer ( no cooking) and can be sliced and used when needed. We would have gone back a fourth night but the owners were having a night off so they kindly recommended anothe restaurant nearby where they go.
We had 2 grilled swordfish steaks and 2 tuna steaks. One of the tuna was cooked with Garlic and the other Europa style which was cooked with peppers and onions. We all really enjoyed the food and the complimentary salad for the centre of the table really topped the meal off. The house white wine was good value and had a delicate bouquet. Someone else in our party had the half bottle of Rosè and she said it was very enjoyable. The owner was polite and very pleasant. All in all a really nice experience. 5*
