Vegetarian n friendly! The ingredients are fresh and local: 5* The food has history and culture. It is itself a representation of Vila Nova de Foz. I recommended! 1. Olives seasoning and bread - a traditional starter, simple and also delicious 2. Wild mushrooms rice - the mushrooms are local and they are just divine in your mouth. This dish is perfect! 5* 3. Dessert: almond tile with nuts ice cream and Chocolat and cinnamon topping. I just loved it. The almonds are local so... No words. Good portions (I think that everyone can share) The price: is not cheap but you have quality and, for me, you pay the right price. My meal costs me around 20euros and it worth it!

Terrible service during pandemic times, all employees (including kitchen personnel) only wear masks when seen by costumers. My group and other customers were asked to leave the sitting area outside after being seated allegedly because the service could not cope with the demand. This type of service is not compliant with the steep prices asked. Avoid at all costs.
Fantastic food at a gorgeous and fascinating museum.
Located in the Museum, the restaurant is in a incredible spot, where Coa river and Tua river unite. Well, sightseeing is Douro! Nothing to say more. It is unique and carries a enormous heritage, in terms of human occupation and art of winemaking. By the way, do not forget to visit the museum! Very interesting information, well documented.
Very good regional food. a must in the area. Amazing view.
Wonderful meal in this restaurant located in the Vale do Coa museum. Lovely view of the Coa river from the restaurant. Food excellent and reasonably priced. House wine well above average. The quality of the food was so better than normally found at museums in London and the rest of Europe. Highly recommended
Excellent meal with large portions. No one in our group felt hungry after the meal. Large fresh fish and beef.
A very strange place. It has good view but the hall does not have fresh air at all. So you sit in like a greenhouse. I cannot call the staff completely rude but the waitress slapped me to face (literally!) when I was trying to pronounce orange juice in English and French languages, not in Portuguese. It is unacceptable! It is a museum restaurant, so the staff must be more used to tourist not speaking Portuguese. And of cause the waitresses must not be allowed to touch or slap their guests! The food is not eatable. Too salty fish, the orange juice smells manure. Avoid this place
