Our tour could be booked last minute (evening before). First we visited a small town with farmers market and could have breakfast. Afterwards we drove to a nice winery, had a tasting and lunch. Delicious food and amazing view. Great wine. Afterwards we went to a boat tour and a second winery with wine tasting. The tour is absolutely recommended. Our guide Diana was very friendly and explained a lot of things. We had no pressure to buy anything in the wineries.

The tour to the Douro valley was good, with plenty of different activities and nice views. However, the guide we were assigned talked all the way there and back, leaving little space for just admiring the landscape, taking a nap or talking with our travel companions. For me it was too much, even though the guide was thoughtful and considerate. Also, the guide was talking while driving, and she gestured a lot while talking, which made me quite nervous because she was constantly taking her hands off the wheel. Next time I suggest getting a driver separate from the guide and sharing only relevant/interesting information!
Took the Wine Tour Douro valley today. Not even a quarter into the tour it started raining incessantly till the end. However, I enjoyed every minute. Our guide, Paula, was very knowledgeable, spoke clear, perfect English and could answer all our questions. The Port tasting went very well with excellent explanations of the processes involved from the manager at Vintage Therry and the guide at Croft. Well done.
I did the douro winery tour and it was quite nice. It was definitely worth it and overall the Living Tours team did a good job. The tour was informative and entertaining, the food was great, nice sights and good wine. The worst thing about the tour is that the driver skimps on the AC and all of us in the minibus were suffering in the heat. That and the drop off back in the city was delayed for a long time for some reason. For some reason we had to wait a long time for our tour guide who appeared to be lost in conversation with some of the other tourists who were dropped off at their hotel.
The tour we had through living tours was amazing, was a full day tour and Paula I think her name was sorry, was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and interesting. Was such a great day with lots to do. The visit to the port winery and lunch was really special. Would definitely recommend
We took two tours from here, totally loved it and enjoyed it very much. Quality service, good selection of restaurants and wine tasting vineyards. Our tour guide Ricardo and Miguel are very experienced and knowledgeable. Never a dull moment. Highly recommended to the Douro Valley tour and to Santiago, both is an all day tour.
We had quite a wonderful experience with Paula, our guide to Aveiro. The city was gorgeous and colourful and the boat ride down the canal was also awesome.
I had such a great time in the Douro Valley with Living Tours. Sadly, the weather was bad and it rained the whole day, but we still managed to enjoy the views to the Douro river, the cruise, and of course, the wine tasting. Our guides Marina and Carlos were wonderful too! Thanks for the wonderful day guys!
