In april, Jeroen Biere and I, Kasper Bos, visited the Clinica do Dragão. As physiotherapist students we had the opportunity to follow a small internship-course of three days. We had an amazing time and learned a lot from the medical staff, physiotherapists and researchers of the facility. We had the opportunity to take a look at the surgeries performed at the nearby hospital. We were amazed by the expertise and diligence of the medical staff. It was a pleasant surprise that the surgeons were very open and took the time to explain everything about the clinic and surgeries. Once we were at the Clinica do Dragão, we got a tour through the various facilities of this institution. We saw the high-end equipment the physiotherapists used to rehabilitate their patients. For example they used a treadmill in which they could reduce the amount of gravity, patients could learn to walk of run again without putting too much pressure on their joints. The therapists gave us a great inside look of the way they treat patients and were very helpful to answer all al our questions. We met some of the researchers of the clinic and found out that some major findings in surgeries and therapy were discovered here, in Porto. Just like the surgeons and therapists, the research-team was very kind to share their expertise. We want to thank all the staff of the Clinica do Dragão for all the opportunities they gave us and their open and kind attitude toward us. We want to give a special thanks to Professor João Esprequeira-Mendes for giving us the opportunity to have our internship at the clinic and Renato Andrade for arranging everything this amazing week and giving us a great time in Porto. Clínica muito completa, com muitas especialidades. Como tem muita afluência de pessoas, o tempo de espera às vezes é considerável. Tem bons acessos e parque de estacionamento do Estádio do Dragão.

Muito desiludido pelo que cobram sem me avisar pelos valores dos chamados epi's onde em pequena cirurgia entro nem 5 minutos após saida de outro utente com a monha máscara da rua, sem qualquer proteção de pés ou outra e tanto médica como enfermeira em traje normal com máscara cirúrgica e luvas (os epi's usados no passado para todas as cirurgias ou blocos). Justificação de produtos de desinfeção diferentes...no valor de euros ...

Levei minha mãe para uma consulta em um especialista de quadril, o qual pediu RM e Raio X, marcados e feitos na própria clínica no dia 04/07. Hoje é dia 24 de Agosto e nada do exame ficar pronto. Já liguei diversas vezes e só me falam que quando ficar pronto mandam mensagem. A atendente disse que esse médico demora mesmo. Absurdo.

Hoje fui à clínica do Dragão para uma consulta previamente marcada por telefone. Na hora do pagamento, cobraram um adicional de 20,00 \ por material de proteção \. Nada me avisaram na marcação, pareceu-me um oportunismo injustificável. Muito mau. Todas as empresas incorreram em despesas extra de proteção; hotelaria, industria, comércio...mas este comportamento é inqualificável. No máximo poderiam sobrecarregar com 5 . Oportunismo puro.

Quando marquei a consulta referi uma determinada médica o que não aconteceu, não gostei nem sequer fui avisada de que essa médica não estava, falta de consideração para com os doentes. Não voltarei, nem aconselho.
