This is the only store I trust with my Portuguese grocery needs. Cheapest 1.5L water bottles I have ever seen. You will find bacalhau for days. They have a nice bakery as well with many different kinds of bread.

It is a good híper-market for a small city like Coimbra. Their fresh produce is sketchy, their cheeses good, their breads and sweets lousy and although usually reasonable in price, during the summer they hike up prices by 20-30%.

A large grocery store with an excellent selection of meat/fish, wine, dairy, pantry staples, fruit, vegetables and personal and household products at good prices. There private label Pingo Doce items are quality products at a significant savings. I prefer this location over others.
