Great supermarket, wide variety of products but the products from pingo doce compared with the \famous brands\ are a bit of a let down... more on the cheap side and the quality is to be desired, like rip-off but with lower quality, sometimes you cn find the \premium selection\ with better quality but then you also pay the price. I also had the impression that they put the well known brand prices higher than normal so that pingo doce products shine a bit more in terms of price. Bolo do caco is really good here, and they always have some nice promotions. The fruits are mostly imported, but you can find banana da Madeira. It is a decent super market overall.

Social distancing is an issue here. Staff need to disperse large groups. Other than that good shop and good service

What can you say about a supermarket. Lots of choice, being english didn't put us off as most things were quite clear to understand. Good experience

At the Forum in Funchal. Lovely open store with all the choices you need. Has English items such as Birds custard powder, Bovril, Pataks Curry pastes etc.... good selection of cheeses and variety of milk and yogurt. And English cucumbers.

Great supermarket for your supplies nice fresh fruit bread meats etc beer selection not great though unless your a lager drinker
