Great luxury hotel resort surrounded by beautiful, manicured grounds. The name relates to the fact that the compound was built on beach cliffs with pine trees growing on them. The rooms are modern and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Jardim Colonial restaurant is a great experience. Make sure to order the carrot juice! The cliff side bar facing the ocean is also a wonderful experience. Sip on your drink of choice as you look out on the ocean expanse. If you are a golfer, then no worries. The hole in one is waiting for you nearby. I highly recommend this beautiful resort.

The hotel is beautiful and it is in everyway a 5 star resort. However, the markup on services and goods is just ridiculous. The cost of a Sagres beer, which anywhere outside the resort and across Portugal will cost you 1-2. At the resort, it costs 8. That's pretty much a 700% markup. Spa services too are way overpriced. A simple back massage is 110 for less than an hour. It's supposed to be an experience but it's a mediocre one at best. But I guess they can get away with charging these exorbitant prices as most people who stay here probably don't mind overpaying.

Hotel is beautiful on the overall with magnificent view if you go at the Champaign bar. Otherwise sea view rooms are definitely not sea view ... But more pine views. Room service was poor, breakfast was OK but definitely not 5*. You can go to the spa with a supplement of 30/pax. 200/ night is overpriced.

My new favorite hotspot in Europe. Due to COVID-19, visiting our regular travel destinations, far and away, is out of the question. So we hopped to Portugal, The Algarve. wow what a great destination and what a great hotel The Pine Cliffs is. Awesome location, great rooms, great staff, great restaurants, all is great about this place, I don’t have enough words to describe the relaxation this place brings. It’s a great home away from home when you need to relax and just be able to let go. But also it’s perfectly located to explore the surroundings of the Algarve. Head to the east or west, you’re perfectly situated to venture out. COVID-19 measure are great. Beach service and beds are great. We traveled as couple, no kids, perfect. Off season, highly recommended as its more quiet. Corda cafe, great food, great staff.

Very comfortable beds and pillows, you sleep well from the first night.. big outdoor pool. Lift .. wasn’t too clean, found a cockroach inside the fridge! Ac inside the master suite was very low we’ve tried everything even the maintenance guy came but for 3 nights the room was not cool enough! While other rooms were perfect. The resident pool is very big and beautiful, They should have towels near the pool , it’s a few minutes walk , but when I come to an hotel to relax and chill I really didn’t enjoy the walk to get towel and give them back! Drive to the breakfast, but just call reception they send a car to pick u up and drop u back! Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool inside the hotel is very nice and deep Nice area of grass to chill Nice coffee shop near the pool Nice shops Nice cafe with yummy food for lunch or late lunch and sweets / icecream. Minimarket, pharmacy The way to the Beach was lovely Go early or all sunbeds are taken! A bit expensive though specially for hotel residents ! Yakuza restaurant is excellent.. The breakfast was good, due to COVID-19 situation, staff help you for the buffet and u don’t wait much, quick service. On the Main Street, u have a supermarket, many yummy restaurants, market shops.. Overall it is a good place, not luxurious but it’s very good.

I have there twice. It is one of the best places I have ever been. Rooms are big with comfy beds. Bathrooms are well designed also. Hotel’s design combines traditional Ajulechos (blue with yellow accents) with a lot of with white spaces. And the clue - the cliff - absolutely miracle on every moment of the day and night. Fantastic!

Pine Cliffs Residence is real luxury, spacious 3 bedroom residence with amazing views. Excellent service, friendly staff, healthy spas, pools, gym, etc. It is my favourite stay in Algarve.

The property itself is stunning, clean, spacious and filled with beautiful pools and restaurants. All spaces have great staff. Ivan Sous who works at the pool bar was so helpful in recommending places to go, things to do in the area and overall made our days at the pool with him. Thank you Ivan you are wonderful!
