We chose Pedro for our wedding as we loved his work especially how he seemed to capture those natural moments and his amazing use of light. From our first Skype call (we are based in London) to our engagement session to our actual wedding and even through the process of creating our wedding album both Pedro and Helena were a pleasure and really put us at ease. I can say they definitely go the extra mile, when our transport for taking the groom to the church let us down Pedro and Helena drove him there in their own car! If it wasn't for them we might not even have got married! The final product are beautiful images I will cherish for life! Thank you again Pedro and Helena for capturing and helping making to make our day special. So much love for these two!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Pedro and Helena. We were first attracted to Pedro's work because of his unique way of capturing moments. He can always find the emotion in a moment and that's what we wanted to have for our wedding photos. From our first meeting we knew it was a fit because he has such a warm presence and really understood us. It was very easy to communicate with them despite living in a different country. We felt very well prepared leading up to the event. We booked Pedro for both a pre-event and the wedding itself and he really fit right in with everyone and kept everyone at ease. We were thrilled to see the final result! Looking through all the photos, we really felt we were able to relive every moment. They also sent a wooden hardrive with all the photos; that was such a nice touch. We can't recommend Pedro highly enough!
Choosing Pedro to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We found Pedro while searching through wedding blogs, and his photographs instantly stood out from the others. His artistic approach and ability to capture priceless moments would have been irreplaceable. We knew we wanted Pedro to be the one to shoot our wedding as soon as we met him and his wife, Helena. We instantly connected with them and knew they would be the perfect team for us! Our first experience shooting with Pedro was our engagement shoot in Lisbon. It all just felt very natural. The day was perfect, we strolled through Lisbon seeing parts of the city we had never seen. We explored little alleyways and courtyards, and Pedro allowed us to just enjoy the stroll while he captured every moment our eyes connected. His ability to use natural light to take snapshots of intimate moments is a truly special skill. We truly feel as though we've made life-long friends with Pedro. His diligence and pure love for what he's doing makes shooting with him an unforgettable experience. Every image that he captured throughout our wedding weekend tells a story and expresses emotions that words cannot describe - and he did this all while being incognito! Pedro is amazing! He recently shot our wedding in Sintra. Prior to the wedding--communicating with him was a breeze. When it came wedding day--he was so friendly and easy to interact with, he naturally incorporated himself into the wedding with the guests, that his shooting was not intrusive at all. And obviously as you can see from his portfolio--his photos are incredible. Would recommend him over, and over again!
Pedro is the greatest wedding photographer ever. My wife and I were so incredibly happy we chose him and if we could get married 1000 times we would have Pedro shoot the wedding 1000 times. He was very easy to work with. He's incredibly friendly and flexible and knew all the best places in Lisbon to take photos. We have so many amazing memories thanks to his photos and he captured the true essence of every single person captured in a photograph at our wedding. If you don't choose Pedro for your wedding or event you WILL regret it!
We are over the moon that we chose Pedro to be our wedding photographer. We absolutely love our wedding photos. Pedro Vilela is an outstanding photographer! Myself and my wife got married in Quinta Sant'Ana last year and Pedro has made the memories so much better! From meeting with us prior to our wedding, the boys getting ready in Ericeira and to the intimate shots of my wife getting ready and off course the event itself, Pedro left no stone unturned. He is so friendly, funny, intelligent and invisible! Our guests didn't even see him there! And that's the beauty of his shots, they're in the moment, from an approach we would never have thought of. A friend of mine showed me some wedding pictures from Pedro and my future husband and I were sure that we don't want any other wedding photographer. The problem: Pedro lives in Lissabon and our wedding should be in Linz, Austria. But knowing Pedro that is not a problem. He didn't hesitate and promised us to come to Austria. From the very first moment we liked Pedro very much (it was like talking to an old friend) and we enjoyed the work with him. The pictures he made of our wedding were fantastic and showed exactly what we felt on that day. For us, Pedro is the best wedding photographer we could image.
