Great place. It was a pleasure to walk through its rooms with understanding that all the things are still used by the President of Portugal. Our guide told us that anytime even during our excursion he can receive a call about an unexpected visit of the president)

The citadel has been restaured in the latest years. The palace is still being used by the Portuguese president and his guests. You surely want to have a drink at the terasse. You will have marvelous view over the harbour of Cascais. Don't miss a guided visit to see the old royal Palace and today the guest house of the Portuguese president.
