Such a hidden jewel! Really worth the detour for a couple of hours wandering through these beautiful gardens, which are really well taken care of. Definitely a nice place to relax. You can also take a guided tour to check the interior of the Palace. On the down side, it is really a shame the tiles and statues aren't so well preserved. They could really use some cleaning so the bright colours could pop up even more.

Definitly one of the most beautiful gardens. With its old looking surroundings and the majestic palace the place offers the perfect vibes for adventurers seeking an exotical experience
Nice place but was not really worth the entry to our opinion. We paid 5 but you are pretty much done with everything after 10-15 minutes. Would just rate it as average!!
Gardens are lovely, but at 6 per adult it's a little bit expensive compared to other things to see in the city, you will get better value for money in other places if you are tight for time. However, its close to a huge park so you could make a day of that and include the Palace as part of it, just depends on the time you have and your interests. We didn't go inside so cannot comment on that side of it but from the outside it did not seem very big so for another 6... Not sure. I will admit that the gardens are lovely and we were there when it was sunny in February so it was lovely but they are a bit grotty in places and should really be doing more to improve them.
Interesting private residence which is a bit out of the city. It's possible to visit the gardens or also complete a guided tour of the house. It's 6 euro for the garden or 11 euro for the garden and guided tour. Note that no photos are allowed inside. The guided tour is detailed but I would say the gardens are the reason you come here. Note there are only a limited number of guided tours mainly around late morning
Beautiful palace gardens. I went here during times.of Vivid so I was only allowed to visit the gardens. The gardens are beautiful and perfect for a relaxed walk with a friend, chatting about life. There was no queue and there were very few people when I went. The tiles are really beautiful and I especially loved the stone table they have under a tree pergola!
Incredible place! You can either buy a ticket just for the garden, which is amazing, or a combo with a guided tour (in English or Portuguese) for the palace. Tours are not scheduled on every hour so try to find out when they are, we had two hours to spare, but we explored the garden at that time, even set there for half an hour and rest. Garden is definitely a must see, palace is much more modest compared to it, but out tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information and details.
Seems to me like a very underrated and often forgotten landmark of lisbon. Noone was there when we visited in the afternoon. The house architecture and the garden are simply breathtaking and more than worth a visit when in lisbon. It's very far from the centre though, but you can still make it work easily with local transport and a little bit of walking. You'll want to come as it's truly one of a kind place. You can buy tickets at the entrence. They are not expensive at all, at least not for the outside of the place.
