Caught our eye on the way down to the main town, VERY clean and friendly, good coffee and far enough away from main tourist trap so as to be nice a quite. Leave time for this place and grab a custard tart and a coffee on your way in or out of town.

A cosy and comfortable place to enjoy breakfast and a snack in the afternoon. The pão de ló was good and the Maria cake was needing a bit more coffee. I don't recommend the hazelnut hot chocolate. Too little taste of chocolate, but the red berries tea was the best complement to the cake. There is also a very nice corner with impressive pictures of old Tavira. A place to return

Definitely some of the best cakes we've ever had, and the ice cream was very good too. Service wasn't bad (apart from the funny looks because we wanted ice cream with the cake), and it was all fairly reasonably priced too.

Outstanding Portuguese coffee and pastry shop, in the heart of beautiful Tavira. Fresh bread and delicious baked goods fresh daily, with excellent coffee and soft drinks. Located at the top of the high street, minutes walk to the castle and gardens, the main square, the River Gilao and the Roman Bridge. Wonderful staff and outstanding service, without the tourist prices that you will pay everywhere else in the area. I go there almost every day!!!
