Very friendly and helpful but not in the least pushy. Three out of a family of five left with lovely Dai caps.
This is an excellent store. Gustavo, the hat maker's son, helped me and my mom. After a short inspection of my head and fashion sense, he pulled out a hat that would fit me, physically and stylistically. He found one that complimented my hipster style and large head. It was the first hat I tried on, and the one I left with. Gustavo was honest about what looked good and what didn't, making it easy to find a perfect fit.

They sell a wonderful variety of stylish and well-made women's and men's hats; the staffers were friendly and helpful. My wife and I recommend them highly!
We are visitors from the US, and had such a lovely experience shopping at Os Chapeleiros that we wanted to let others know. I have many hats and have shopped in hat stores in many countries but have never had as friendly and professional service as we received from the lady who helped us. Not only did she guide me through hat styles and sizes, but she showed me several ways to care for hats that were unknown to me. Moreover, she took time to recommend other shops where we can find other items, showing us their locations and websites. And... I bought a cool hat there. Highly recommended hat store.
They make quality hats in a huge variety, and they also help you find something that fits your personal style and wardrobe.
Nice shop with a good selection but the woman in the shop is on of the rudest person in Lisbon... so there is no way that I could buy a hat (even if I wanted to). To the owner: please change her and you’ll see your sales triple.
