I attended a concert there, so I can't really rate it as an actual football stadium. However, when it comes to big events like concerts, it is easy to see that the facilities are NOT equipped for it. The event hadn't even begun and the bathrooms were already miserable. Water everywhere, awful smell, not to mention the half hour spent in line.

Stop to have dinner with great views of the stadium and great food
Best club in lisbon
Great view to Tejo river but with urgent need for improvements
The most beautiful stadium in Lisbon and one of the most beautiful in the world, and certainly the best view of the city, with stuning views to the river Tagus. Restelo stadium wasbuilt in 1956, so it has a classical stadium architecture. Going to the place is like returning to the past, a visit to the Lisbon of the 1960s. Its football team,\ Os Belenenses\are one of the greatest teams of Potugal, although is the last years they have been a bit down, My advise to all the Lisbon visitors that like to watch football and would like to spend a pleasant afternoon is to go there at the weekend, watch a soccer game (football), and then pay a visit to the Casa dos Pastéis de Belém, to eat custard tarts (one is never enough). That way you will be fullfiling the ritual of all the Belenenses suporters.
