The facilities and staff are great. They give excellent instruction in English and Portuguese. I've done ten dives with them so far and looking forward to many more! Update: I've now done 37 dives, open water course, night course, science of diving, nitrox, react right, deep, and am working on navigation, stress and rescue and then I'll do the dive guide course. I will have gone from beginner diver to professional with this diving center and they take the safety of each and every dive from try scuba to the professional very seriously and make each and every dive a pleasure.

The Octopus Diving Center was advised by a local guide which said her friend was a very good diver. I called them and requested a double boat dive with a short refreshment coarse. On the day itself I got noticed the boat was used for experienced divers and we were going to do two shore dives. The shore dive in Angra was nice but I still felt like I missed out on the boat dive. I was only there for another day so I did not have time to book another boat dive. After the first dive my instructor had problems with his ears so we had to cancel the second dive, which I think is the right thing to do. He requested me to pay only for the first dive. The dive was good but because of the different reservation I had other expectations.

I did snorkeling with them in Ilhéu das Cabras, it was incredible! We watched lots of different animals with an appearance of dolphins! Thank you a lot guys, sea you around!

Excellent diving centre. All the equipment is in very good condition. Very kind and professional diving instructors and guides: the briefings are just excellent, and the diving spots are awesome. As a summary: very nice crew, great dives and unforgettable experience!

We had the best time diving with the Octopus team, one of our favourite dive center in Azores. Great equipment, awesome dive spots and the best team. They will take take of you and make the best of your time diving there. We only had 2 days and Alex made sure we had the best Dives there. We had lot of fun and just wish we had stayed longer!! We are really delight with the Team and the great attention we received. Rita arranged our diving on short notice an we spent a beautiful and lovely diving day with Ricardo. He was very nice, resolved all our questions, helped us to arrange the equipment and took the time to explain and brief in detail before each dive. I recommend you absolutely the Octopus Team if you want to dive in Terceira!!!
