My work is a game, a very serious game, said M C Escher, but we saw the fun today. It's an important exhibit for showing the modern mind the beauty math has in store when placed in the hands of M C Escher. More later... In

This was quite an interesting place to visit during my stay in Porto. The conversion of the warehouse into an events centre and museum was pretty cool, even keeping the old rail tracks along the floors, as well as the very industrial architectural style. They had an exhibition of the old Presidential Cars on display when I was there, and it was very cool as a micro-display of the evolution of the car. The library which now showcases the old documents is very nice as well. If you have an hour to use during the day while you're along the waterfront, this is a good place to visit. It is simple, and some of the rooms will be closed off for other events, but it's a neat piece of Porto's history to check in on.

This museum is located in the nineteenth century customs house on the Douro River. The first part of the exhibit focuses on the different types of transportation, horse-drawn carriages and motorized vehicles, such as the Rolls Royce Phantom Five, of the presidents of Portugal. The second part consisted of a very interesting documentary concerning those who worked in the customs house before Portugal entered the EU and the consequences of this union. Part three is devoted to how we communicate with each other.

Went here for Steve McCurry's photography exhibition and loved it. The building is iconic (you can even see old train tracks used to transport goods in and out of the building) and the exhibition room was quite large and filled with impactful photographs. If there's a good exhibit going on, I highly recommend going.

The Escher exhibition was great, the place hosts many different events and both temporary and permanent exhibitions, always worth a visit.
