My partner and I were in Monte Gordo two weeks ago, obviously a very quiet time due to the pandemic. We found Moby's Bar after a Google search and it was a five minute walk from our hotel. Moby's Bar couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming to us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to serve. We had a lovely steak dinner and chicken salad one night, this had to be preordered due to pandemic circumstances, but we were so grateful as it felt like they really made an effort, which they didn't have to do. My partner has some allergies regarding food which can be quite complicated at some places, but Moby's took the time to work out exactly what she could have. Both our meals were delicious. We dropped in to the bar a few times during our stay and every time was a pleasure, often getting tips on places to go and useful information on the local area. Excellent, thank you guys!!

Moby's Bar is tucked away, just off the sea front, which is Ideal in the heat of the midday sun. The owner, Toni serves a mix of food, all cooked fresh and delicious to taste. She will cater for vegetarians and celiacs and with notice, will get in any food you require. As we were new to the area, Toni also had a great deal of local knowledge and pointed us in the direction of a number of local sites. Great atmosphere, tasty food, brilliant hospitality and good value for money in the hidden, unobtrusive gem. Thanks Toni.

Such a friendly bar, hosts Karl & Toni made us very welcome.Excellent service, watched loads of football, played really good background music, very reasonable drink prices & Sunday lunch,10 was absolutely delicious! Other food available too. We had such a laugh too everytime we visited. Highly recommended & hope to see you all again. Dave & Paula.
Lovely Scottish lady a d what a great place for a mammoth Sunday lunch, and mid week snacks. Would recommend.
What a great find in Monte Gordo!Karl is a great host, measures of wine are superb and beer is fresh and perfect..If I could score out of 10, I'd give \eleven\!
