The food is very average and slow in arriving after ordering. Definitely needs improving on. Staff are friendly and courteous.

Terrible service. Been here a few times and every time they are soooooooo slow with bringing orders. Unbelievable. Often they plain forget something, so you wait and wait and then think 'why bother'. Everything they do seems to be in slow motion. Place looks pretty though.

What an amazing, tasty, and beautiful restaurant! We had a wonderful dinner here. Came around 21:30 while they were suppose to close at 22:00 and still... they welcomed us in such a pleasant way with vibrant vibs and energies! Our waitress was so lovely n' sweet too- thanks so much! Regarding food- WOW! We were left speechless. What a well thought and remarkable way of dealing with fresh ingredients (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options!). Sencirly, taking the meaning of tapas to the next level. Yam and inspiring! A night to remember. Highly recommended! Beautiful setting and a great way to watch stars at night (if you sit outside).

The restaurant is situated on a hill top and you have a wonderful view over Monchique from there. The waitress was absolutely lovely and did a great job. The food was generally good and tasty. However, there is one area where the restaurant has to improve: I ordered the \McnCheese\ wich I have ordered numerous times in the US and other countries. When I dug into the delicious looking pot, I soon found out that they put crunchy (half-cooked) ONIONS in it. The whole thing tasted strongly of ONIONS. ONIONS DO NOT BELONG IN McnCheese! And if you do something like this, you have to specifically mention it on the menu! If I had read that there are onions in it, I would have never ordered it. So I just ate a spoonful of my main course. Similar with the desert. It said \waffles with ice cream\, so I thought it would be a warm waffle. No, it was basically a crunchy cone in the shape of a bowl and the ice cream was served in it. It was basically the waffle container but not a fresh (belgium)waffle. Please be more specific on your menu!

The food had a very weird taste. The banana bread pudding didn't taste like banana and it was plated very badly. The salmon frittata was dry, but the salmon was very salty and wet. The staff was very nice though.

Located on a beautiful hillside with a breathtaking view of the Algarve this is the place to sample a wide range of delicious wines. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you with fantastic food to accompany the wine tasting. A must visit!

BEST DINING IN MONCHIQUE!!!We discovered this lovely restaurant on our way to Foia. The tapas are very tasty with a focus on regional products. We enjoyed camembert, chorizo and very tasty gluten free bread. The owner just started opening hours till 10 pm two weeks ago. Also we had a wineflight with three wines representing a selection from north to south of Portugal and a Wineflight with three Different Ports. The staff was very friendly. The prices are amazing. we had 3 courses. There are lovely cakes and homemade gelato for dessert. For 2 people we paid 45 euro including an extra Bottle of white wine we favored from the wineflight for take away. The interior is very beautiful. A lot of focus and love put on details. You can also chose a lot of vegetarian and vegan food options.

Amazing place! Super aesthetic and cozy interior, lovely gluten free tapas and desserts, vegetarian and vegan options available. Brunch in the weekends. We loved the banana bread with vegan ice cream that can be selected from a gelatteria just next door - in the annex of the wine bar and tasting lounge. Gluten free bread selections were great and freshly made by a bakery. Nice selection of local wines. The staff and owners are very friendly and ready to acommodate as far as possible for allergies or food intolerances. Lovely views of the Serra da Monchique through panoramic windows. Can't recommend this place enough, pop in when on the road to the highest point of the Algarve - Foia or just come specifically to have a cozy time in this place, it is worth it.
