I’m surprised no one has reviewed this restaurant. It’s located inside the very fancy Vila Vita Parc resort and you can take a buggy down to the restaurant where the view is absolutely stunning. We stayed next door at VilaLara Resort and came here for dinner two nights in a row. They have a teppanyaki counter but unfortunately children must be 12 to sit there. So we did the ala carte. They have wild salmon nigiri which is pretty hard to find in the US and Europe and the quality and taste is superb. They also have A5 wagyu. We loved the iberian pork dish as well as the tempura and the nigiris. Service is really good and they were all super friendly. They also have an extensive wine list as well as many sakes. Closed on Tuesday and make reservations to come.

When we came here last year, we had an exceptional time for my birthday. We had a nice table outside and the food, service and sales were 5 out of 5. Today we booked 4 days in advance to make sure we get the same table with a view and I asked the worker on the phone that we are flexible on the day. He said it is fine, there are tables at any day. Today we arrive to get a table in a dark spot that should be a bar table, not for eating (the whole terrace was reserved for an event). They offered to change to the table with were was a family that just started their dinner or to sit where staff comes in and out...no apologies or complimentary drinks. We just left because we don’t see a point to pay all that money to feel like some last sort of people. I don’t understand why the booker couldn’t just tell us the terrace is fully booked and suggest us another day. This is unacceptable service from a 5 star hotel restaurant.

Gorgeous experience with a lovely view. The staff was so nice which made the amazing food taste even better. I went all in and let the staff decide what I would have. The only suggestion I was reluctant about was the wagyu nigiri (caviar and truffle) but they (Irina) insisted. When I tried it, I regretted being so stubborn sometimes. What a delicious dish. Filipe perfectly paired the food with a beautiful white (Verdelho) from Pico, Azores. Will come back on every chance I get!

We had the Teppanyaki taster menu and it was delicious! Alan was our entertaining and attentive chef, who’s wizardry with the food meant that it didn’t last long on our plates. It was the best dinner we had in the area during our stay.
