Such a great place to buy fresh products and fish it has stalls for chocolates , wine , meat , fish and many more. It looks like a tourist attraction from the first sight but it is in fact for locals. So good to see people having tapas and with a bit of If you like this review, let us hear from you! Such a good selection of healthy, fresh products straight from the farmers or producers. I recommend visiting and grabbing some veggies, we put together a delicious meal with some alheira sausages bought from the meat stall. Don't forget to leave some extra tip, vegetables are really too cheap.
We loved everything we tried - especially these fruit smoothies! The right place to buy fresh fish, vegetables, all kinds of spices and also handcrafted stuff.. We visited the temporary version and are very interested in the reconstructed one.
The orginal place is closed for renovation. The market is moved to La Vie mall (where decathlon is). Market is clean. There are stalls for dry food, fruits, fresh seafood, frozen seafood, flowers and also some eating stalls. Check out the variety of nuts and dried preserved fruits, cheap & good!
If you are able to cook - buy nice fish in this market. Amazing people and a big variety fishes - meat and other regional products
Actually in Renovation!!!! But the temporary market is not far away from the old one. It is worth it to visit it and get a smoothie, or local delicious stuff to take or sitting there for lunch or coffee. Just walking around is a nice experience since you feel near to the natural way to buy groceries with no packages and stuff. An enjoyment for the eyes!!! There is even a pharmacy in there with nice natural stuff.
Great market. Wonderful produce and lots of fish and seafood. Half of it looked empty on the day we went but I imagine there are more stalls on the weekend. Good photo opportunities.
Mercado Central de Porto was under renovation. The visit was in the temporary space. Everything very clean and organized but does not have that atmosphere of municipal markets. It looks like a mall. Some grocery stores, local items such as olives and cod, breads and cold meats. Few dining options
