This is what Sintra is all about - finding secret places full of soul and character, charm and welcoming. Away from the confusion but close enough so it's not far, this little and cozy caffe or restaurant offers vegan meals (daily dish menu but also other options) that are so well cooked, so full of flavor and with the little details of sophistication that makes one feel at home.

My partner and I enjoyed a satisfying breakfast at Mela Canela - the tofu toast was particularly delicious! Also do yourself a favour and try their smoothies, I got a banana and cocoa smoothie which went down a treat. The staff were also very friendly and were more than happy to accommodate my food allergy. We felt very nourished afterwards.
Cozy place with delicious food. The soup was very tasty and the main dish too. Going to return for sure! Also the staff is very friendly!

Just reopened after remodeling. Super tasty and prices are great for the portion size. “Toasts” are full on sandwiches and so tasty and filling. Great vegan options including oat milk, golden lattes, and even a few desserts!
