I just returned from a holiday in Madeira and wanted to thank Manta Diving for the opportunity of diving over the past two weeks. The centre takes both beginners and more experienced divers with stately always a top priority. I was impressed by the professionalism of all the guides and trainers. Mainly I would like to thank Ainhoa for her insightful assessments of people their skills and personalities. Her intervention paired me with a diver of equal skill and expectation, enabling us both to learn. All of the team at Manta Diving are friendly knowledgable and give confidence to nervous divers like me. I would particularly like to mention Jan, Florian and Celine for their happy, patience and sound advice. And I would like to give a special thanks to Miguel for his passion, style and good humour. After two weeks and 12 dives I can confidently say that my diving has improved as a direct result of the guidance of the team at Manta Diving. Thank you.

Great Dive center on Madeira! In July 2020 I spent time here Scuba diving and had some amazing dives. the highlight of the scuba diving part was a trip to the wreck Afonso Cerqueira, which is just an absolute stunning wreck that has been prepared especially for divers before the government sank it in front of Madeiras coast. My personal highlight however was the freediving course I did. The instructions and teachings of my instructor Sittika were great and really showed me the freediving lifestyle. I am hooked on freediving now and will be back soon to dive again with the team of Manta Dive! The rental equipment for both scuba and freediving is very new, clean and I felt very safe and taken care of during my time here. Thanks for everything and see you soon!
Freediving in the \Manta Diving Center\ is something you should put on you bucket list here in Madeira. It is just an amazing experience with a lot of marin life. Thank you Stefan for the session today.
Great diving center with a fantastic team. Went diving there after a six year break and was immediately reminded on what makes this activity so beautiful. After a professional refresher course my buddy and I were led to all the great places the house reef and the surrounding underwater national park has to offer: Remarkable underwater landscape with its lava formations, terraces, tunnels, caves and walls. A variety of Atlantic sea creatures such as the old moray \Esmeralda\, sting rays, groupers, barracudas, octopus, trigger and scorpion fishes and many many more. And of course not to forget to mention the wreck and night dive. In our week on Madeira we had 10 amazing underwater adventures in the company of our great guides Julia, Jakob, Philip and Christina. This team around dive center owner Stefan was always eager to provide us with the best experience possible. Also, the location of the dive center basically carved into the steep cliffs of Madeira's coast just underneath hotel Galosol is remarkable. It allowed for short ways both into the diving spots at the house reef and to the relaxing area of the hotel bar with beautiful views onto the Atlantic ocean and the coastline. This place is highly recommended to go diving and spending a great vacation in an atmosphere that is not defined by mass tourism as it is the case in other dive destinations around the world. Keep up the good work team Manta Diving!
For us it was the first dive ever and we felt very safe and very well looked after. Super nice people that made our experience unforgettable.
Came as group of 9 of mixed ability, everyone at the dive centre was incredibly friendly and tailored dives to everyone. Guides were brilliant and the shore dives were great with large variety of species to see. The cave dive was really cool and the wreck was definitely a highlight. Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys diving
We had two lovely dives. The staff were were very professional, required all the necessary checks on first dive, equipment was good and altogether a very enjoyable and good experience. Highly recommended.
