I booked 3 different tours and I can't tell which one was the best cause they were all great but different in their own way. - Lisbon Introduction tour with Nuno. It was nice to not only see the touristy places but also the outskirts. Best spot on this tour was the abandoned restaurant in the Monsanto parc where you got a crazy good view! - Dinner tour with Marcos. We had a great group of only four guest and had some fun and crazy topics and good laughs together. The food served in the restaurant was great, don't bother to queue for the pasteis de belem during the day as you'll get to the place in the evening without tourists. Ending with a little porto we were three people going on for drinks afterwards. - Sintra-Cascais trip with Pedro. Here again we didn't visit the touristy castle but we saw the fabulous Montserrat Palace and its gardens. Lunch in a great local restaurant which you'll never find on your own. Later on to Cabo da Roca and Cascais. I can only recommend WHTT when you're looking for of the track places and don't need to see the touristy spots. All guides I had were charming and welcoming. It felt like friends showing their city. Rock on guys, you're great! Hope to visit again after this Covid-mess!

The best tour I've ever taken. It helps you see the city from the perspective of the people that live there. You discover places and foods and stories you would otherwise completely miss. You get the big economic and political picture and the funny local details. You reflect on the true impact of tourism and your role as a tourist - the good, the bad and the ugly. After the tour, I felt the guide was a close friend, and the city was a little bit my own. Cannot recommend it more!

We took the dinner tour and the Sintra tour and had an incredible time at both. The guides were knowledgeable, fun, and achingly cool. Like the popular kids in high school that also manage to be super nice to everyone. It was like being taken on a tour by a close friend, with visits to spots that are beyond the usual tourist spots. I’d give them 6 stars if I could. If we ever visit Lisbon again, we’ll be sure to book another couple of tours with them.

Someone recommended this tour option to me and I'm so glad they did! It was a fun, relaxing, informative, well-paced experience (in Lisbon). The tour guide was friendly and interactive and fostered a welcoming environment in which we could ask as many questions as we wanted. It was nice to make our way around the city in a smaller group and get to see a mixture of both higher profile sites as well as some less well-known.

I booked this tour on a whim with a friend, and it turned out to be one of the best days of my trip to Lisbon! This tour takes you to so many cool corners, but does so in a way where you feel like you’re seeing the “must see” spots through the eyes of a local instead of following the beaten tourist path. I highly recommend to anyone - all ages! I will definitely be joining this tour again next time I’m in Lisbon.

I have been on two tours with these guys and loved both trips - totally unique, interesting and a responsible approach to tourism where you actually feel like you are experiencing local things without pissing locals off! My parents also loved the tour and it gave them the chance to see Sintra, Cascais and surrounds. Our hosts were funny and accommodating. I can't wait to return to Lisboa and try another tour!
