What with Lisbon's newly found fame on the international circuit of mass tourism, this place might seem like a tourist trap at first. But it definitely remained true to its working class roots, offering simple, honest, but immensely tasty fare at very reasonable prices. Get a big jug of refreshing vinho verde and settle down for seafood and rice casserole or a big plate of ribs with home made chili sauce (yes!) and you'll be looking at a bill of 20 odd . Not bad!
Cosy and small place that serves great food. Come early because it gets really crowded and you might have to queue. The codfish with fried rice was spectacular! The owner still topped it all off with cherry liquor shots on the house. Highly recommend this place!!!
