Largo Luís de Camões
N/A
Unforgettable. The heart of the center of Lisbon. You can breath here the air of the Portoguese culture. It's an artistic place where there are a lot of statue of the highest poets. Recommended.

Super-central stuff. Nice buildings around. Smallish and lots of foot-traffic.
A great place to chill out on a hot day with a cool drink at the kiosk watching the passing by of the unique yellow trams and all the lively business around the square. great point to start climbing up to visit Bairro Alto and the absolute must Principe Real quarter.
Luís Vaz de Camões is one of our major poets, who wrote a major epic poetry book about our world discoveries back in 1500's: Lusíadas. It has been a \general\ meeting spot for many of us before going out at night in Bairro Alto or Bica's bars and restaurants, since at least the 90's. Check the undergroud park and you'll find the ruins of one the palaces that were destroyed by the biggest earthquake our city lived back in 1755.
Its a busy plaza, full of cafés, traditional and trendy new shops. You can catch the old team line 28 and head for the castle if you want, or catch the Subway and head for any other place in lisbon
Beautiful place to have a nice stroll - even during winter
Too crowded for a pandemic for my taste. Better to go during the week.
