Abysmal service. They cannot manage the volume of people due to lack of organization, resources and competence. You'd have better luck in a third world country.

I arrived at 7:30 in the morning, got a ticket for Social Security as number 050, and was seen at 11:30. So be prepared for a long wait (and dress for cold weather if it’s winter!) No problems with the employees working there, I think they are overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of people waiting and some core issues around organisation efficiency. My advice would be to prepare in advance, call the Social Security help line in advance (multiple times if necessary as the answer can vary depending who you talk to) and come with all the documents you can think of, as well as a good book and some food and water. Good luck!

Criminal record quickly done but I don’t like the way that they did for social seguranća . Its been two and half months I applied for social number but still I didn’t get. I went there to ask about it but they said the work is going slow you have to wait for 5 to 6 months. I felt shock because they don’t care about others time. Time value is more important for everyone. Please do respect for othe’s time.

I got ticket 8:30am and the number is C-67 for tributaria - finanças, but my work is done 03:37pm :(
