A dive into history, many nationalities peaceful together. This in one of nicest areas of Lisbon. Hopefully is place will be kept \alive\ for the future.
10/10 would recommend, good place to rest. Mashallah.
The British cemetry is very pretty with a lovely garden and most famous for Henry Fielding's grave. It also has thw grave of all British citizens who have died in Lisbon, dating back 250 years. Plus it is the home of St George's church; which is the only Anglican/ Church of England church in Central Lisbon. It has services every Sunday at 11:30am and Thursdays at 12:30pm. They are always so inviting and welcoming and everyone is welcome. The church alone has an incredible history.
Here is the tomb of Henry Fielding, the novelist, playwright and magistrate. Author of The History of Tom Jones
Mystic, secret garden, quiet, forgotten
Very good
Can only be visited on weekdays between 10.30 am and 1 pm.
