For me, the best thing about this airport is that it is very easy to get out of there with a convenient connection to the Metro, which brings you quickly and simply to anywhere in Lisbon you may wish to go. And yes! They do have one bathroom on the departures level! It is partly functional and is cleaned occasionally and is located near the food court where a 10 McDonald's cheeseburger may be purchased. Before leaving take advantage of your opportunity to spend your children's inheritance at Versace, Gucci, Hublot or wherever you fancy. For those who have fully-charged electronic devices, free Wifi is available in some places. If you require an electrical outlet to recharge your device you are invited to SIT ON THE FLOOR as long as you like and Security will not chase you away. My TAP flight was delayed one hour which is normal here.

If I could I'd give it 0 stars. Passport was stolen and the police and airport workers were very unhelpful. The head of the police's words when I asked for a police report were exactly \oh you're going to make me work for no reason\. Portugal is amazing but I recommend staying far away from this airport. If you have to travel through here stay on high alert.

The lady at airport info desk(the dark blue one) of Terminal 1 shows no respect to passengers. At 10:40pm, I asked her about location of airport lounge since my flight is at midnight. Here’s her reply: “It’s 11 o’clock, what do you want? Everything is closed! The lounge is not for people, it’s for special people!” None sense. I know the lounges will be closed at 11, that’s why I’m in such a hurry that I went to ask her. There’s no clear map shows all levels. Unacceptable attitude.

Not a place where you want to stay long. But often you have, cause many flights where late. Big food hall with not enough space for seating. Very winding, not easy to find your gate. All in all: no pleasant experience

They have some shops, but overall this is not a good place to be delayed. overcrowded, noisy, 3rd world internet speeds- both mobile and the wifi provided.

Lack of basic seating and rankest toilets, just wanted to wash my hands but one whiff of the odour 10cm from the doors triggered my gag reflex.
