What a brilliant place! They were so friendly, so easy to contact via phone/WhatsApp and they were able to help me in every way I needed. I came to get my fin box repaired, the shaper they use is excellent and did a perfect job. Everything is also very fairly priced in store. 5*

Honestly one of the best board rentals I’ve been too. We tried their advanced boards and they were 10/10. They had boards for all sizes and all types of waves. The service was 10/10 too. We had an accident on Christmas Eve with the car and ended up returning the board late into the day. She stayed open and was extremely nice (even though we had dinged the board) and didn’t charge us extra for the time. Will come back when I pass through Algarve again. Thank you!!

I'm gonna be honest with u all, this surfshop is the best. First encounter was to repair my board, excellent service, contact over WhatsApp, transparent and good prices. The estimated costs to fix my board were 80,- but at the end it turns out to be only 65, and they fixed the front and the back of the board. Then i was ready for a new, smaller surfboard. So i went to this shop again, the proper knowledge, time and kindness made it super nice to buy my first board. And, you can try your brand new board even for 1 day! Of you don't like it, then u can bring it back, amazing. I can honestly recommend this place!

We've used Magic Board Centre many times on multiple trips to Lagos for board hire, surf lessons and now ding repair. They are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. They advise on where to go given wind, tide & swell conditions and ability of surfers. They have an excellent range of boards to rent and buy. Wetsuits are good quality. If you rent boards they include extremely good quality FCS softracks. I head some ding repairs done recently and they were absolutely top quality and very reasonably priced.

An amazing place to get a lesson or rent a board! The whole team at The Magic Board Center are great, you won't meet friendlier or more passion people in Lagos! I've had a few lessons in the past and this was by far the best and it really helps having instructor who love their job and want to help you. Depending on your level they break everyone into groups to make sure you get the most from you lesson. On the second day we just rented boards and the whole processes was quick and easy. All their boards are in great condition and well looked after. They'll also advise you on the best spots to surf on the day.

Purchased a board from these guys in October amazing advice on th board and they took time to analyse and advise me very carefully. It's so rare to get that sort of help and it's much appreciated. After riding the board in all sorts of conditions, in Portugal and now lots on the east coast of England , I really can say Rik picked the perfect board for me and my needs -as well as my progression. I absolutely love riding the board and it handles small and big waves well! It really is the MAGIC board. Went out to Lagos to hunt down a board, tried different shops tbh, but there's no doubt this is the place to go. Rather than just buying a surfboard me and my mate got the full experience. Uncle Rick (the owner) as the teacher, had our full attention for over 2 hours to his surfboard technique, shapes and physics teachings. Personal service, knowledge and the eye and care for quality, all spot on! Would recommend anyone in the hunt for a board to swing in at magic board center! 100%. Thank you guys :)
