Didn't actually enter the church. Instead I spent time admiring the gardens and views over the river. Very handy for castle, and can be reached by tram 28E.

The Santa Luzia Church is situated in a place of great beauty and symbolism: the Santa Luzia viewpoint from where one has a privileged view over the most typical old quarter of Lisboa: Alfama.
Beautiful view, but dirty.
A friendly old man guides you in and on a small billboard they ask for a small donation. So we did and entered a small and intimate church. Quiet church music plays from loudspeakers. If you want a still moment, do the donation, sit down and listen.
The Order of Malta Church.
A Igreja e o local são muito bonito. A Igreja simples e o local com vista espetacular. No dia que fui (segunda) a Igreja não estava aberta para visitação. Quem sabe na próxima visita a Lisboa. Recomendo.

Igreja pertencente à Ordem de Malta e instalada numa antiga mesquita. Atrás da igreja está visível um troço da cerca moura, muralha do período islâmico.
