Half of the exhibits were closed to the public (catacombs, upper floors...) It is smaller than you may think. I recommend going to the Angra Museum instead, which hides a beautiful chapel and cloister.
Very interesting and beautiful church with an extended history. Has survived see earthquakes and is presently being restored again. Wonderful architecture and mission.
Beautiful church with great art. Wasn't expensive to visit. Personally I think it should be free.
A typical Church foundet by Jesuites. A lot of pomp, gold and silver everywhere. A sightseeing stop worth.
A nice atypical azorian church, great for some lovely pictures.
