EN: Private hospital with 24h emergency service very close to Albufeira downtown main avenue. Not cheap, but efficient enough for a urgent or sudden situation. They have a xray unit 24h ready. The human resources lack character, promptability and sensibility to manage patients in distress, but mainly nurses and doctors are professional enough to make this hospital works. PT: Hospital privado. Funcionamento serviço atendimento permanente. Tabela valores elevado. Profissionais e competentes tecnicamente pese embora pouco dinamicos/proactivos e com ausencia de capacidade de lidar com pessoas/sentimentos.

Emergency room was great, but appointment next day with surgeon was cancelled after waiting two hours. No other doctors available. Very poor service.

The Hospital is in breach with its own rules on Covid; The web site says: \call in advance\. however their call center does not accept calls from international phones. So non-portuguese people cannot call the hospital. Fortunately other hospitals do so

It's not a hospital but a Machine who make money For the Hospital Owner. They will make you visit them way too many time unnecessarily, Means you have to pay a consulting fee every time which is no less than 45 Euro...They even charge for the \\Nurse Services \\ On top of the huge total Already listed on the bill....And they require at least one week normally 10 days to prepare a report if you had to do some test...And trust me, there is always test ,So More money to pay....

Five star service, best medical services in the south

Last day of holiday yesterday and my son decided to jump off a fence and land on the path with a bang. Got an uber to this hospital and the treatment was fantastic. Son had xrays on his arm, medicine and even a couple of balloons. The receptionists, nurses and drs were absolutely fantastic. Son has broken his arm and they put a cast on and made sure he was ok. Gave us a copy of all the xrays to give to the UK hospital, the good to fly notes and a full breakdown of all the costs. I think we were in and out in a couple of hours With a prescription for more medicine and all casted up. Cost was 220 which we thought was excellent value. Hopefully though, we won't be going back on our next holiday. Thanks for all the help. And special thanks from joshua.

Days ago sadly I had to see the doctor at this place. Awful receptionist, she treats you like s.... In the other hand the doctor was so kind. Very professional. I don't understand why they keep an awful receptionist like that. She used to mock on people by their back I felt very uncomfortable.
