I went there for more info and was attended by Sr Nuno . He was very helpful and professional. Sadly, I'm still hesitating to sign in due to this current situation with COVID

I am going to cancel my account here because the club ignores safety measures and allows any number of people in, despite the current global pandemic. When I called this to their attention they just ignored my complaint. Avoid if you want do stay Covid-free.
For that amount of money they could keep the swimming pool cleaner and the toilets as well. In general the place has problems with the hygiene as well as the communication with their clients. 90% of the time their check in/out system with the card doesnt work and they just check random people when they are entering. Also their contract are incredible uncomfortable or logical for the client but in plus for them.
I came eager to join, the sales however didn't seem to be keen to let me. 35e joining fee, 30e leaving fee and 30e test ride. 30e test ride on the pool?! None of the bs fees can be waved off. All of that to join their most expensive one month rolling contract. When the sales don't negotiate then why have them? Perhaps you should try to be more personal Holmes? Worth a try. Answer to response: "Cannot" or "will not" ? I've been with many gyms - the joining fee was always negotiable, the leaving fee was never there and the test day - that's how gym's sell their product. 30e for 2 hours is a total reap-off what ever way you want to justify it.
Totally exploited us under Covid 19. Don’t go there!
Not Virgin Club anymore, it now belongs to the Holmes Place Group. If fitness and health is a priority for you. You won't be disappointed. Excellent staff and facilities. From the weights room, machines, treadmill with a nice view of the sunset, classes, spa, sauna and meditation shower. You have everything. Depending on your financial capabilities you can keep track of your progress fitness and nutritional wise with the help of their onsite professionals.
Good club with excelent equipment. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The initial consultations with a personal trainer and nutricionist are very helpful. A little expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
Good enough gym for any workout you’d need. However, it’s below the standards of other virgin active gyms I’ve tried. Bad air conditioning. No shampoo in the shower cabins. Many broken showers. Poor WiFi. Gym floor too crammed with machines and weights and not enough space for body weight exercises or stretching. Overall, all the above needs to improve to match what we pay for this membership.
