Wonderful location and reasonable cost in the city center. This cozy Guest house located in the good point for visiting this fabulous historic town. Even, there are some problems with my staying, all staff is very helpful and friendly. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Very good location. Clean, although small rooms, which is to be expected based on the relatively cheap price, ok breakfast. However, the guest house is located in a street with night clubs, which makes it extremely noisy till about 4 am. I am 1.80 cm tall and the bed was actually too short.
Clean, noisy (to be expected because of the great location) but full with thieves. I notice a warning at the door not to leave money in the room, which was strange. I had to leave my wallet for about 30 minutes, and I found the warning to be justified. Somehow here your cash is not safe. They have a thief, or more, among the staff and they do nothing about it. I would stay away from this place. I noticed other reviews on the matter, they are sadly true.
300 euros were stolen from my bag at the hotel and the responsible for the hotel took no action. Besides That, the manager threatened to sue me if I reported it. However, I feel obliged to advise them of the risks at the Guest House Porto Clerigus
The name is quite misleading, because it is actually Hotel cristal or Recidencial Cristal. The bathroom is as you can see on the picture, very small and uncomfortable, you have to squeeze yourself between the wash basin and the shower cubicle to get to the toilet. The street infront of the guesthouse is also very dirty in the mornings
The location is great. Just few street away from very centre of the city. The room is ok and breakfast is ok too. But there's a club just across the narrow street. And it is playing loud music almost till 6am through out night. You need earplugs to stay here.
