My experience with this residence was not the best. I was told I had to leave my room because I was not a “Portuguese student” and accused of “bullying” my former Portuguese roommates without even asking me if I had or hearing me out ( I didn’t talk to these girls as they apparently had “no English” so I definitely did not or could not bully them). They threatened to remove me from the residence even though I did absolutely nothing and I knew nothing of this until my coordinator informed me. Also I’d like to point out that the manager or receptionist or whatever was extremely rude to me and actually came into my room without invitation and told me to get out without giving me any reason. Even after this I thought it could not get much worse but it did. I had a microwave go on fire while I was making tea in it (yes we had no kettle at the time) and one washing machine at a point that had to do everyone in the building. We even had to pay to wash our clothes even though we were volunteers and told we weren’t supposed to. At one point I was drying my bedsheets with a hairdryer because all our dryers were broken. We weren’t surprised. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting, ants everywhere along with cockroaches. I am lucky for one thing as I didn’t have to pay for this but I feel extremely sorry of the people that did. I was told not to complain about all this either or cause a fuss as they would kick me out of it and it was the only place I could go. But now that I’m no longer there I thought it would be appropriate and also to support my friends who still live there and who have to put up with it everyday. The only reason I’m even giving this residence one star is because after I got moved rooms, I met and formed the best friendships with my new roommates and this is what got me through it.

One of the worst accomodation in my life. People so not kind, not thinking. Just focused on money, not on people who is lived there.

The Place Is cheap but the price Is too High for the Total absence of services. The staff Is rude and keep treating the people (the not portugeses expecialy ) of fines and punishements for the Little trasgressions. The director doesn't accept any confrontation and complains . The washing machines are often out of services and the kitchens of First and second floor were only in recent times repair .

Hello, Unfortunately, I had the trouble to spend 10 days in this place. The accommodation itself took a very long time, they didn't even know that I was coming despite the reservation and the advance payment of 50%. Living conditions give a lot to think about. There are red ants everywhere and other insects in the room. And the bed creaked so much that I woke up at night as if it were spinning. Public cooking in a deplorable condition, a tourist should come with his potaki and dishes.
