I stopped by to enjoy tge well tended park and discovered a lovely café overlooking the sea. Its a lovely high vantage spot. I love the lawn on a slope and I find it very relaxing ti sit by the pond.

A great scenic park, with panoramic views of the shoreline including the harbor and Rotunda do Infante. It closes at night so make sure you’ll visit during the day...

What a lovely area! Not only is it so well kept, but it's also in a great location overlooking the marina. Plenty of bench seating, and certainly a lot of lovebirds enjoying the romantic atmosphere. There is a very nice pasture lawn for laying out and picnicking. There's also a nice pond with swans and ducks! This is such a great way to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the main street underneath.

Very nice and big park in the heart of Funchal. You'll have a panoramic view of the bay of Funchal and can also find little corners very quiet to relax. It's also a place I love to bring people to take nice photos when we do a photo session in Funchal.

Beautiful park, there are a couple of cafe bars in the park if you get hungry or thirsty. 2 sets of Toilets, one free, the other 50cents (well worth it, cleanest toilets I have ever seen). Great views over the Cruise terminal and the Town. If visiting near to Christmas, then the Christmas lights are a must see. The whole town and surrounds hillsides are festooned with lights. An estimated 1.6 Million lights.

Very beautiful and calm area. Loved to sit down and eat some breakfast. Small pond with a great view of the city.
