Famous for their juicy chicken (go for the whole, not half chicken, it's not very big) but their Picanha is also a must to try! Big piece of delicious beef on a hot plate. Went here twice in a week, didn't disappoint both times. Wine glasses are filled very generously, waiters are friendly and prices are good!

Might be the best chicken restaurant on the planet. Food was off the chart. Staff were brilliant. I wish I could describe the chicken. I'll try - moist, spicy, so good. This is on the bone chicken goodness. No pizzas, no pasta This is not a lazy Madeiran restaurant. Take time and try it.

Best food I've had in years, and at a very reasonable price. The staff were superb, from the man who booked us in a few days before to the waiting staff to the chefs (whom we bought some beer for because the food was so good!) Given the choice I'd eat here every day. Try it yourself!

Not Nandos in the slightest. Yes they do chicken... fullstop. The waiting staff are not the friendliest and seemed more interested in selling add ons such as garlic bread before you're offered a drink. I will add here not a drinks menu in sight. After ordering I'm having mixed salad pushed on me also. We both order the half chicken and fries, the waitress nearly said something but stopped herself. What came was cut up pieces of chicken that to me tried to disguise the fact that they were keeping the breast meat aside and serving up thigh, back and wings. I think she was going to suggest a full chicken shared but then thought about the extra revenue. Not much else to add, fries undercooked and general underwhelming feel about the whole affair. The people on here likening this place to Nandos...have you been to either places?!!

We visit every time we are on the island at least once. The food is absolutely phonominal service always 5 star and price is just as good. Definitely worth a visit ️

So apparently 1/2 a chicken is not one half of a chicken... It's chopped up chicken wings on a plate... Unsurprisingly no one came by to ask if we were enjoying our food! We were later told by a member of the waiting staff that if we wanted half a chicken we should've ordered a whole chicken... My wife and I are clearly not locals but the fact that we might not represent repeat business is no excuse for such behaviour.

Amazing meat and great service with good wine, what else could you want. Lots of locals too.
